Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech oversees Guildford's play-off win

Swindon Wildcats may have been eliminated from the play-offs, but the Cats' ice hockey obsessed faithful were still glued to the Coventry final to see who would emerge victorious between Guildford Flames and Milton Keynes Lightning. So too was Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The Czech born world class goalkeeper was in attendance as Guildford surged to a 6-2 victory over MK, and the former Chelsea number one took delight in celebrating with the players following the final buzzer.

Currently recovering from a long term injury, Cech took advantage of taking the time to watch another sport close to his heart.

As a child Cech began his sporting life between the pipes in ice hockey before moving to the centre of the sticks on the football field.

Guildford aren't the only team to have met the legendary Premier League stopper however, as the Champions League winner also paid visit to recent fixtures involving the Swindon Wildcats, taking the time to pose for pictures with the team following the match.
