The club boasts three men's teams, two ladies' teams and a successful junior’s section for a range of ages and abilities. The club's new home pitch at The Deanery CE Academy in Wichelstowe is located on the southern edge of the town.

Swindon Storm American Football Club

Swindon Storm is a relatively new addition to the sports scene in Swindon, having been formed after a 15-year break. The club was founded by resident Steve Bennett, who has 19 years of experience in the sport and wanted to bring American football back to Swindon.

Since its formation, the club has received government funding and has access to coaching, first aid and youth welfare and protection qualifications, along with Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for all the staff. The funding the team has secured over the years means that any prospective new player aged 13 or over can try the sport for free by using one of the sets of helmets and shoulder pads owned by the club.

In 2020, the club relocated to Southbrook Fields, where they have space for a full 100-yard field, 2 youth pitches, changing rooms and facilities.

Swindon Bowls Club

One of the oldest bowling clubs in Swindon, Swindon Bowls Club is based near the town centre, hosting six outdoor rinks. The club is proud to enjoy a long and successful history, and new members, both bowling and social are always welcome. A qualified coach is on hand to teach interested parties the sport. The club competes in local and county bowls matches, as well as internal club competitions.

Scrappers Gym

Scrappers Boxing Gym and Community Fitness Centre is a low-cost alternative to expensive commercial fitness centres which was set up in November 2011. The gym provides access to fitness equipment for everyone, especially young people and those on low incomes to increase their health and fitness, and boxing is one of the best workouts you can do.

The gym had to relocate in 2013 and has been located at Sensor House, Langley Road, Swindon since then. The gym has thrived and the demand for the project has increased year after year. It has attracted a lot of attention over the past few years with visits from two-time world champion Nathan Cleverly and support during a funding competition from professional boxers.
