Bignot pleased to see Swindon Town triumph again in pre-season
Swindon Town assistant Marcus Bignot was pleased to see his team make it two wins from two in pre-season.
The Robins, who beat Swindon Supermarine in a friendly on Saturday, followed up with a 2-0 victory at Hungerford Town.
With the scores goalless at the interval at Bulpit Lane, Paul Glatzel (pictured) and Anton Dworzak netted in the second half for the visitors as they made an array of changes.
Assessing the contest, Bignot said: "We talk about being the hardest working team when we go out there and the boys put in a real shift physically, it is another 45 minutes for them very early on in the pre-season.
"It is five training sessions and we have had two 45 minutes already, so credit to the players for how they have taken to the new programme.
"On top of that it is always nice to win and get two from two, it is a good habit to have and long may it continue."
Victory this evening! ?

He added: "There were some good performances and that has been encouraging, 45 minutes, no injuries, and the win.
“I will keep going back to that winning mentality."
Town make the trip to face Melksham Town in their next pre-season contest on Tuesday (7.30pm).
