Swindon Town's Colston secures Golden Boot after incredible scoring campaign
Swindon Town women’s hotshot Annie Colston was awarded the FA Women’s National League Division One South West Golden Boot, after a remarkable scoring campaign.
The prolific striker netted no fewer than 35 times in the division this season.
She was presented with her award during the Women’s FA Cup final between Manchester United and Tottenham.
Colston’s tally made her the highest-scoring player in any of the top four tiers in the English Women’s game.
Her goals helped the Robins finish sixth in the Division, with 28 points from 22 games. Exeter City were promoted from the league as champions.
Colston signed a two-year deal with Swindon back in July 2023, meaning she is under contract with the club for next season.
Congratulations Annie ??
