Coventry goalkeeper Reece Charles-Cook linked to Swindon Town loan

The Coventry Telegraph are reporting that Swindon Town could bring in goalkeeper Reece Charles-Cook in on loan.

They do not say how long the supposed loan could be, but it may suggest that either Lawrence Vigouroux could be sold by the end of play today, or that young understudy Will Henry could leave the club on loan.

Neither of those possibilities have been confirmed.

Charles-Cook has been at Coventry since the summer of 2014 but has recently found himself down the pecking order at the Ricoh Arena and is now the Sky Blues' third-choice keeper behind Lee Burge and Liam O'Brien.

The 23-year-old began his career at Arsenal, had a short loan spell at Chelmsford City in 2013 and then moved to then-League Two Bury, where he played twice.

He played 22 games for Coventry last season, who were relegated from League One as well as Swindon.

Charles-Cook played against Swindon last campaign in the 1-0 Swindon win at the County Ground, but Burge was in goal when the Robins won 3-1 at the Ricoh.
