Classy Kemp issues emotional message to Swindon Town fans
Loan star Dan Kemp delivered an emotional message to the Swindon Town faithful, insisting there would be “memories that will last with me forever”.
The 24-year-old had initially signed on loan from MK Dons on a season-long deal but was recalled by his parent club earlier this week.
During his time with Town, the attacking midfielder recorded an impressive 16 goals and eight assists from 27 games in all competitions.
And in a video posted via the club’s social media, the former England youth international took the time to thank those who had made him feel at home at Swindon.
He said: “Town fans, it’s been an absolute pleasure.
“From the moment I joined, I felt so welcome and I’ll always be massively grateful for that.
“There’s been some unbelievable moments in my time here. I’d probably go back to even my first goal against Forest Green – that feeling with the away fans.
“And then that unbelievable night, the most recent game against Forest Green. My two goals under the lights at the County Ground will be memories that will last with me forever.
Thank you ?? I have absolutely loved the last 6 months, thank you to my amazing team mates, the gaffer and his coaching staff, the incredible people around the club and most importantly you incredible fans! I wish everyone associated nothing but the best for the future ???? https://t.co/4jBkTMYEMy

“A massive thank you to everyone associated with the club, whether that be you amazing fans, the people around the club, obviously the manager and the staff and everyone that made it possible to give me this platform to hopefully show everyone what I could do.
“It’s been an unbelievable six months and I’ve loved every single second of it.
“Thank you first and foremost to you amazing fans who have got behind me every single time I have put on the Swindon Town shirt, whether that be home or away travelling in your numbers and supporting me and the boys. It doesn’t go unnoticed and we are all really grateful for that.
“Just a massive thank you from me and I wish everyone associated with the club nothing but the best for the future.
“Hopefully, I will be able to come back in some capacity to appreciate the amazing fans here.”
Kemp’s final game for Michael Flynn’s side came against Crawley Town on New Year’s Day – scoring a consolation effort in a 3-1 defeat.
