Swindon Town were dealt a blow at the hands of Bury Football Club on a cold Saturday at the County Ground, as the Lancashire club left SN1 with a slender 1-0 victory thanks to a Danny Mayor header.

Swindon Town were forced to play the fixture with emergency loanee goalkeeper Jake Kean making his debut between the sticks, following injuries to both Lawrence Vigouroux and Tyrell Belford. 

Town were boosted by the return of deadly forward duo Nicky Ajose and Jon Obika, though their presence was not enough to see the Robins take a share of the spoils.
