Grajczonek aiming high as Swindon Robins welcome Wolverhampton

Swindon Robins race back into action this evening, 7.30pm, as they prepare to welcome Wolverhampton to the Abbey and notch their second home victory of the campaign.

And aussie ace Josh Grajczonek has backed Swindon to reach the Elite League play-offs ahead of the clash, believing Rossiter's men can indeed go all the way this season.

The M&S Van Rental Robins will search for their second successive home win after racing to a crushing 55-35 win over Coventry last week.

They will face a tough test as they welcome a new-look Wolves side who earned an eye-opening away win against the Bees in their season opener last Friday.

However, as they bid to earn three more Elite League points, Grajczonek says he believes the revamped Robins have what it takes to earn a fifth consecutive play-off appearance.

“Swindon is a big, fast track which is what us Aussie’s like to ride, and I’m sure it will suit us all down to the ground this season,” Grajczonek said.

“We’ve got a great team and even though a lot of people are talking about us Aussie’s in the top five, it’s important that we have two strong reserves in Wrighty (Charles Wright) and Stef (Nielsen).

“I think as a team we are just desperate to show people what we can do this year. We’ve got a few guys like Sedgy (Justin Sedgmen) and Rohan (Tungate) who’ve been knocking on the door for a couple of years now, and I think it’s their time to do well.”

“A lot of teams are looking strong so it’s going to be tough in that race for the play-offs, but I’m confident we can get there.”

The Robins will be at full strength for the clash, whilst Wolves have drafted in former Swindon favourite Steve Worrall to guest for Kyle Howarth in the No.7 spot.

SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Justin Sedgmen, Josh Grajczonek, Rohan Tungate, Nick Morris, Stefan Nielsen, Charles Wright.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Joonas Kylmakorpi, Sam Masters, Jacob Thorssell, Freddie Lindgren, Mikkel Bech, Max Clegg, Steve Worrall.
