Holloway: Swindon Town team is becoming recognisable to me
Boss Ian Holloway insisted Swindon Town were “becoming recognisable” to him, as they continued an upturn in form.
Rosaire Longelo’s 72nd minute goal earned the Robins a 1-1 draw at Bromley. A result which put them three points clear of the drop zone in League Two.
And Holloway, who has been in charge since the end of October, believes he is starting to trust his players’ decision making.
He said: "It is all about trying to judge it and get it right and this team is becoming recognisable to me.
"They are looking like they train, they are carrying that onto the pitch and making decisions themselves.
"I am starting to trust them more and the more that I can trust them then the better we are going to be.”
The 61-year-old added: "I am absolutely delighted with the lads as that is another point and it keeps us ticking over.
"In the last six games across all competitions, I think that we have won three, had one defeat, and drawn two.
"To me, that is an improvement, even though we need to keep going and use that moving forward."
Town’s next test comes at home against Colchester on New Year’s Day (3pm).
