Holloway keen to credit entire club for Manager of the Month accolade
Swindon Town boss Ian Holloway was keen to credit everyone at the club for his League Two Manager of the Month award and insisted: “We have to improve massively.”
Town recorded four wins from six games in the division during January, a run which has helped them them steer 14 points clear of the relegation zone.
But the 61-year-old, whose side are currently 14th in the table, was keen to focus on keeping the momentum building, rather than his own personal accolades.
Holloway said: “I am accepting on behalf of everybody. Everyone should be really proud as it is a much nicer feeling than when I first arrived.
“It is huge that everyone has pulled together and worked hard. It is a curse so I would like to move on.
“We have played more than everybody so it is a false position and we can’t get carried away. We have to improve massively to do anything.”
