League One is the aim for Swindon Town defender James Brophy
Swindon Town left-back James Brophy is hopeful the club can bounce back to League One at the first attempt.
Brophy, who is one of 11 definitely-contracted players at the County Ground come Saturday, and is one of three defenders, along with Dion Conroy and new signing Chris Robertson.
He, like every other member of the squad, now has to adjust to life under new manager David Flitcroft and the 22-year-old, who can also play as a left winger, is looking forward to working with the ex-Barnsley and Bury boss.
Swindon's pre-season programme starts today (Monday, June 26) which makes Town among one of the first clubs to get back into the swing of things.
Speaking to the club website, Brophy said: “I met the gaffer and the new assistant for the first time the other day and they seem really positive.
