LOAN WATCH: Swindon Town goalkeeper Will Henry endures nightmare debut at Dunstable

Swindon Town's Will Henry and Scott Twine endured miserable debuts but there was better news for Jake Evans.

Henry, who following the deadline day signing of Reice Charles-Cook, is now Swindon's third-choice keeper and has therefore been shifted out to Dunstable in the Southern League Premier Division on a one-month loan.

The 19-year-old will hope that Saturday's match, an 8-1 drubbing at Slough Town, was a one-off though.

Brad Watkins headed Slough into a 14th-minute lead before Henry made a superb stop to deny making it two early on, with an outstretched leg.

Aaron Hudson levelled for Dunstable soon after, but that was as good as it got for Henry's temporary team, as they shipped a further seven goals on Slough's artificial pitch.

Watkins completed his hat-trick and Slough skipper Mark Nesbit got one to make it 4-1, and then Manny Williams netted a brace with goals from Chris Flood and James Dobson inbetween.

Meanwhile, in the Conference South, Scott Twine was making his debut for Conference South outfit, Chippenham Town.

Twine netted 30 goals for Swindon's under-18 side last season but drew a blank on his Bluebirds debut, as Chippenham lost 3-0 at Dartford. Twine played the entire 90 minutes.

The one Town loanee that did have a good time though was right-back, Jake Evans, as his Farnbourough side won 3-0 at Kings Langley which meant three points for Farnbourough and a nice clean sheet for Evans.

Like Twine, Evans played the entire 90 minutes.
