Website 0330 002 1993The striker on-loan from Plymouth Argyle started his first game since a 0-0 against Walsall as Swindon ended their nine-match winless run courtesy of Jonny Williams’ tenth goal of the season.
Jephcott felt the team gave it all they had against the Bantams and he was happy to see that hard work pay off.
He said: “It was a massive result, we haven’t been on the best run recently, picking up a point on Saturday was good and then you get a win over a very good Bradford team, it is a huge relief.
“I think we did really well as a team, we created chances, we ran hard, we defended well today, so it really was everything.
“We stuck to our game plan in the second half, we weren’t comfortable, but we felt in control for the most part.
“There were a couple of times when Bradford had chances, but we put our bodies on the line and it was a really good defensive performance.
“I could have scored a couple, definitely when their goalkeeper made that save, so I was glad that Willo [Williams] bailed me out there.
“It is important that we build on this game now, we have got four points from the last two games to get over the unfortunate run.
“Everyone is working hard and working on stuff every day, so it is a relief to finally get that win because we have been on the wrong end of some results and there have been some games when we were unlucky, so it felt nice to get the win.”
