Lee Richardson put Swindon in front at 19:02 after being assisted by Jan Kostal and Jordan Kelsall with 2-1 being the score at the end of period one.

Stanislav Lascek levelled the score again at 33:58 and the second turnaround of the contest was completed at 37:02 when Macauley Heywood made it 3-2 to the hosts.

Phil Hill scored a powerplay goal at 43:22, assisted by Malasinski and Ben Nethersell, to make it 3-3 in a yo-yo game.

Max Birbraer made the score 4-3 at 46:09, with Nethersell and Kostal assisting, and Kovar finished the job at the death.
