MATCH REPORT: Winchester 0-2 Swindon Supermarine

Swindon Supermarine recorded back-to-back league wins for the first time since January with a 2-0 win at Winchester City on Saturday.

Goals from Callum Parsons and Brad Hooper secured the three points for a Supermarine side that are just about still in the race for a play-off spot in the Evo-Stik Division One South and West table.

Parsons made it 1-0 to Marine on the 38-minute mark when he headed home a rebounded Ryan Campbell shot that rattled the crossbar.

Hooper doubled the lead of Supermarine 10 minutes into the second half when he converted from the penalty spot.

In the build-up to the spot kick Hooper forced a good save out of the Winchester keeper, but soon after Joe Selman was brought down in the box and a penalty was given.

It was then down to Hooper to slot home and give Supermarine some breathing space.

The lead was enough, too, as Winchester were not able to properly get into the game with Marine the dominant side throughout.
