It was Yate who opened the scoring though when Jack Ball headed home Mike Baker's cross just short of the half-hour mark.
Supermarine rallied though. Connor Waldon sent a 25-yard strike wide three minutes later but it was the second half where the away side made their mark.
Waldon did manage to find the back of the net eight minutes into the second half with a guided header into the back of the net from a right-sided cross.
Fellow ex-Swindon Town employee Josh Parsons scored the goal, in the 78th minute, to get the vital three points when connected to Waldon's cross to smash home the winner for Supermarine.
The win leaves Supermarine five points behind fifth-placed Evesham United with four games, and therefore 12 points, still to play for.
