Ward keeps Swindon in the game as he denies Josh March's header from close-range. Brilliant reaction save from the keeper as the follow-up corner produces a throw-in.

76' Simspon produces some great footwork on the left-wing and fires a ball to the back-post with Hunt looking to come onto it but denied by Bernard who clears for a corner. Swindon's corner comes to nothing.

68' Forest Green Sub:

66' The ball tees up for Crichlow 20-yards out and he hits it powerfully but watches on as his effort goes wide. McKirdy is then booked for time wasting.
0-0
63' Swindon again nearly gift Rovers a goal. Crichlow and Payne get their passing exchange wrong and Rovers burst into the box that ends with Stevens seeing his shot tipped away by Ward. Swindon then clear but Forest Green are increasing the intensity as they seek an equaliser.
0-0
58' Payne is found on the left-wing and his cross towards the front-post is met by McKirdy. He rises well but probably times his jump too early and his head meets the ball as he was on the way down and it's off-target. Swindon looking dangerous and Rovers look stunned.
0-1
56' The goal came as Gladwin found space for himself in the middle of the pitch. He had time to place his cross towards McKirdy and the playmaker then did brilliantly to hold off his man and guide the ball into the bottom right corner with his left-foot.
0-1
54' GOAL SWINDON
Harry McKirdy produces a brilliant first-time finish as he latches onto a Gladwin cross into the Rovers box. Great finish and Swindon deservedly lead.
0-1
51' HOW HAS HE MISSED??!
Jack Aitchison pounces on a mistake as Conroy and Odimayo clash with the forward then through on goal but he sends his effort wide from close-range and Swindon are let off the hook.
0-0
48' Iandolo is enjoying more of the ball during early parts of the second-half as he links up with Reed on the right-wing with the latter floating a cross into the box that is claimed by Mcgee.
Swindon then have to defend and Crichlow fouls in front of his box but Rovers take it quick and can't do much with the chance.
0-0
47' Simpson wins Town an early corner as his shot is blocked behind but Matt clears easily with an uncontested header inside the box.
0-0
Back underway at The New Lawn Stadium.
0-0
HALF-TIME: Forest Green Rovers 0-0 Swindon Town
44' Swindon look to break as Cornoy charges forward playing a one-two with Payne before slotting a through ball into Simpson who does well to create space for himself before firing a low-cross into the box that produces an awkward clearance from Bernard.
Rovers Dan Sweeney is then shown a yellow card for pulling back Simpson, as Cornoy is then shown a yellow card for simulation.
0-0
40' 5 minuets left of the half with Rovers looking the more likely of scorers as things stand. A dangerous ball across the face fo the Swindon goal see's Matt just out of range as he attempts to get a toe on it.
0-0
36' Payne's delivery is floated in with Hunt then picking up the ball near the corner flag but is deemed to have pushed Cadden in the face. What a weak decision that was with some clear play acting.
0-0
35' Confusion in the Rovers defence sees Swindon win a corner. The set-piece is cleared but Swindon keep the pressure on and have another corner as we enter the final ten minutes of the half.
0-0
32' Rovers put a corner into the box from the left that bounces around the box before eventually being cleared by Crichlow who then looks to break out of his box but is deemed to have fouled a Rovers player 25-years out. Cadden fires a ball toward the top-right corner with Ward diving brilliantly to deny the effort.
0-0
29' The corner is put into a dangerous area at the near-post by Payne with Iandolo attempting an acrobatic attempt that is deflected back out for another corner. That corner comes to nothing and Rovers have a goal-kick.
0-0
28' McKirdy forces an impressive diving save from McGee after shooting on the turn inside the Rovers box. His shot is tipped around the upright with the keeper diving to his right and Swindon have a corner.
0-0
26' Rovers win another corner after Crichlow's sliding tackle put the ball out of play on the right-wing. Conroy clears well with a powerful header and Swindon look to break with their eventual counter producing little in front of goal.
0-0
21' Cadden attempts to get past Hunt in a 1v1 situation on the left-wing but can only manage a corner. The ball is whipped in and Ward rises highest to collect comfortably.
0-0
20' Action seems to have quietened since Simpson had the ball in the back of the net with both team's not producing much in front of goal. The disallowed decision seems to have momentarily deflated Swindon with Garner clearly still unhappy with the decision.
0-0
13' DISALLOWED GOAL
Simpson has the ball in the back of the net after McGee spills McKirdy's shot but the striker is deemed to have fouled Sweeney with the ref blowing after the ball was in the net. Never a foul and that is an awful call.
0-0
10' Ellis Iandolo asks for a penalty as he goes down under pressure from Sweeney after latching onto Hunt's low-cross. Rovers then attempt to break but Payne puts in a crunching and fair tackle.
0-0
7' How have Forest Green not scored. Lewis Ward does well to deal with initial shot from Aitchison as he got through on goal but then fumbles the follow-up from Matt and has to call on Hunt as he blocked on the line.
0-0
5' McKirdy wins a free kick just inside the Rovers half as Swindon begin to dominate the early exchanges with their high press causing a lot of problems for the hosts.
0-0
3' First shot of the game see's Rob Hunt shoot from a tight angle as McKirdy's through ball deflects into the path of the fullback. A clean strike but easily saved by McGee.
0-0
2' McKirdy appears to be tucking in just behind Simpson during the early exchanges and playing as a support striker/playmaker. He has a big chance to make a point to Ben Garner today as he hopes to cement a starting place.
0-0
