HALF-TIME: Swindon Town 3-0 Rochdale
44' It might've looked an easy finish but that was a goal of his own making from Smith. He made a sprint from the halfway line as soon as he saw the keeper pass the ball and intercepted well to leave himself with an easy finish. Great reading of the game.

We're just ten minutes away from kick-off. Can Swindon get off to a winning start in League One?

Our prediction: 2-1
So Swindon come into the new season as League Two Champions following a brilliant 19/20 season that was unfortunately cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Swindon have lost their main strike force with Anderson, Doyle, and Yates all leaving the club over the window. But Richie Wellens has reinforced heavily with a mixture of loan and permanent deals.
And now the Rochdale line-up for today's season-opening game.
So first let's bring you today's Swindon Town line-up.
Swindon make five changes from Tuesday's EFL Trophy defeat, with only two of Swindon's starting XI having featured in the first game of the season last year (Hunt and Fryers).
SWINDON XI:
GK: M Kovar, RB: P Caddis, CB: A Odimayo, CB: Zeki Fryers, LB: R Hunt, CM: M Smith, CM: A Grant, LW: J Smith, CAM: J Payne, RW: D Jaiyesimi, ST: T Smith.

A new season with different conditions that none of us could expect. And whilst football isn't the same without fans, we will be here to bring you all the action this season. We hope to see you all back in the crowd soon but for now let's get ready for the first game of the season.
