7:38PM

A quick recap of the table coming into tonight's clash sees Swindon sitting top of the table on 66 points with Crewe - who play Exeter tonight - just one point behind Richie Wellens's side.

7:26PM

Since arriving at SN1 in November, Wellens has completely turned around the mood at Swindon with smart business in the summer and January seeing Town deservedly sit top of League Two.

It's no surprise that Blackpool were sniffing around in an attempt to lure Wellens to the Seasiders, but the new deal sends a big statement out that Wellens is here to stay.

7:17PM

BREAKING NEWS: Richie Wellens has officially put pen to paper on his new deal with Swindon Town. He will stay at the club until 2023.

7:15PM

Swindon Town are in a hot run of form at the County Ground this season having lost just three times in the league at the County Ground.

7:13PM

Scunthorpe are a side in a good patch of form at the moment having gone unbeaten in their last two league fixtures.

However coming up against top of the league Swindon will present Russ Wilcox' side with a different challenge.

Scunthorpe haven't won at the County Ground since 2017, that match sent Swindon down to League Two.

7:09PM

If you want to read more from Wellens then you can read our write-up following yesterday's press conference HERE.

7:08PM

The main talking point coming into tonight is Richie Wellens revelation that he has not yet put pen to paper on the STFC contract that was announced by the official club website last week.

Speaking to Total Sport Swindon at his pre-match press conference yesterday, Wellens said:

“I haven’t actually signed it yet,” said Wellens.

“We’re very close to sorting it out and I can’t see any problems arising.

“When it gets sorted I think that will be the right time to talk about it,” he added.

“If you read into it, it says agreed terms. Agreed and signed are two different things.

“Hopefully we can get it sorted as soon as possible,” said the STFC manager.

7:05PM

Scunthorpe United line up as follows:

SCUNTHORPE XI: Watson, Perch, Gabriel, Butroid, Gilliead, Sutton, McArdle, Miller, Bedau, Rowe, Liddle

6:58PM

Richie Wellens' has made just one change for tonight's match.

Tom Broadbent has come in for Rob Hunt. We expect that Hunt has picked up an injury however Wellens didn't state this in his pre-match press conference yesterday.

SWINDON XI: Benda, Caddis, Broadbent, Edmonds-Green, Fryers, Grant, Doughty, Isgrove, Jaiyesimi, Yates, Doyle.
