Storey spent the previous season acclimatising to Scottish football, leading the line for SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle and hitting the back of the net on 11 occasions in the league, with two further cup competition goals.
Impressing during his time in Scotland, boasting a 68 percent shot accuracy and notching three assists, Storey began to attract the interests of potential suitors.
Taking to their official website, Aberdeen Football club today announced the capture of the forward, stating 'Aberdeen Football Club are pleased to announce that Miles Storey has agreed to join the club on the 1st July 2016 once his present contract with Swindon Town FC expires on 30 June 2016.'

Swindon Town are reported to have offered the 22-year-old forward a new deal at the County Ground, but this has been turned down by Storey in favour of a permanent move north of the border.
The Robins face an upcoming transfer window where it is expected star striker Nicky Ajose will be in hot demand, while fellow striker Jon Obika has only one final year to run on his current deal.
The loss of Storey serves as another blow to Luke Williams' side, who could soon find themselves light in the attacking department.
So much early promise, Miles Storey ends #STFC career with total of 9 starts & 6 goals. Real shame it didn't work out. Good luck to him.
