PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon 1-1 MK Dons

Swindon snatched a draw at home to the MK Dons on Saturday and Total Sport's Benjamin Wills dishes out his player ratings from the afternoon's encounter.

Lawrence Vigouroux: Swindon got a point against the MK Dons but without goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux making a number of top saves, it would certainly have been a defeat. Also guessed the right way for the penalty - 8

Nathan Thompson: Swindon's captain has been playing with the remnants of an injury in recent weeks but he carried on with resilience on Saturday - he was lucky not to get booked in the second half though - 6

Dion Conroy (replaced by Brad Barry '73): The ever-impressive Conroy was good again this weekend and it was typical of him that he had to be replaced after being injured when making a crucial last-ditch tackle - 7

Raphael Rossi-Branco: Branco was solid if not spectacular. The Brazilian did his job with a number of blocks and headers away, and even charged down the other end to try and head his head on a few corners, with little success though - 6

Fankaty Dabo (replaced by James Brophy '68): Chelsea loanee Dabo tried cross after cross that, while decent, did not end up in Swindon scoring - 5

Rohan Ince: Rohan Ince simply cannot be Swindon's heartbeat over and over again, and for once he was not named man-of-the-match today, but by no means did he have a bad game - 7

Charlie Colkett: Not one of the better days at the office for on-loan Chelsea midfielder Colkett. He gave away the penalty which lead to MK's goal and was unable to unlock the opposition's defence with his passes - 5

Conor Thomas: Thomas was ineffective despite recent heroics against Millwall which has earned him a start over the likes of James Brophy and Ben Gladwin - 5

Johnny Goddard (replaced by Ben Gladwin '60): Goddard's game will sadly only be remembered for the golden opportunity he squandered early on in the second half which really should have dragged Town level. It was the sort of chance he would have been dreaming of when he went to bed on Friday night - 5

Nicky Ajose: As we all know, Nicky Ajose is a man that relies on good service to make an impact on matches, and the Charlton loanee did not get much at all on Saturday, which therefore kept him out of the headlines - 5

Jon Obika: Saved Town's bacon with that 90th-minute goal and on another day he would have had a second, when his earlier headed shaved the outside of the post - 7

Substitutes:

Ben Gladwin (on for Goddard '60): Gladwin was largely subdued by the opposition, as the midfielder was restricted to long-range shots during his half an hour on the pitch. None of which caused the goalkeeper any problems - 5

James Brophy (on for Dabo '68): Brophy was not able to make a real impact on proceedings as Swindon normally attacked down the right and middle while he was on - 5

Brad Barry (on for Conroy '73): Swindon seemed to have a lot more about them when Barry was introduced with little over 15 minutes to go. His determination to win the ball back also played somewhat of a decisive factor in Swindon's goal, too - 6
