We recommend
Lawrence Vigouroux: Was largely untested in the Swindon goal which must have been a welcome change for the Chilean goalkeeper - 6
Brad Barry: Brad Barry, who made his long-awaited return from injury, put in a solid shift on his return to the line-up and got the full 90 minutes at the County Ground - 6
Lloyd Jones: Centre back Jones was largely sound in the Swindon defence, only real hiccup for the Liverpool defender was him being shrugged off the ball by Aaron Amadi-Holloway which almost led to an Oldham goal - 6
Nathan Thompson: Swindon's captain was assured in defence and saved the bacon of Jones in that aforementioned chance with a last-ditch clearance - 7
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: The much-maligned wing-back was as lively as anyone else in the first half, having shots on goal and bringing others into play with passes. Performance, like any other offensive player, dropped in the second half though - 7
James Brophy (replaced by Johnny Goddard '68): Again, the marauding Brophy tried his utmost to get attacks going in the first and second half for Town but could not quite deliver the decisive edge - 6
Rohan Ince (replaced by Dion Conroy '76): The on-loan Brighton midfielder dominated the midfield but found himself subbed late on in the second half as on a yellow and struggling for fitness. Awarded man-of-the-match by club sponsors and crowd gave the 24-year-old a standing ovation when he came off - 8
Charlie Colkett: The flashy Chelsea midfielder was involved, if not influential. A lot of Hollywood balls came from the 20-year-old but he was not the focal point of Swindon's creative play like he should be - 6
Ben Gladwin: Gladwin, for the majority, was limited to shots from range as his attempts to make his mark on the match but most of them were either blocked, saved, or over the bar - 6
Nicky Ajose: Ajose's third stint in Wiltshire has not yet delivered a goal and the wait goes on for the forward. He got a bit more service than usual but Oldham keeper Connor Ripley was equal to anything Ajose could fashion - 6
Jon Obika (replaced by Luke Norris '76): Until he was replaced with a little under 15 minutes from time Obika's hold-up play and distribution to bring others into the top was nothing short of brilliant. A really impressive display from the striker who probably should not have been subbed off - 8
Substitutes:
Johnny Goddard (on for Brophy '68): Goddard was never really able to get among the danger areas in a second half that Swindon struggled to dominate quite like they did the first - 5
Dion Conroy (on for Ince '76): Through no fault of his own, Conroy came on to a hostile reception from the Swindon supporters as they voiced their frustation at Luke Williams for Ince's removal. Conroy did nothing to back-up Williams' decision - 5
Luke Norris (on for Obika '76): Norris was the best sub of the three, and managed to get a trio of shots on goal, but none of them (two efforts over and one blocked) caused Ripley much bother - 6
