We recommend
Lawrence Vigouroux: Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux had literally nothing to do all afternoon apart from claim a few crosses and pick a ball out from the back of the net from a shot in which he had no chance of saving. Very unfortunate afternoon's work for the Chilean - 6
Bradley Barry: Right-back Barry was given man-of-the-match by the sponsors in a move that raised more than a few eyebrows. In fairness to Barry, it had to go to someone and no-one envied the sponsors - 5
Raphael Rossi-Branco: Branco headed out a few crosses and almost knocked one into the back of the Chesterfield net in the second half, but it went just wide - 5
Nathan Thompson: Thompson was decent defensively in a game Town controlled but for the majority but was part of the defence that ended up on the losing side today - 5
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: Ormonde-Ottewill was mainly involved in attacking play rather than his defensive duties but was average at both - 5
James Brophy: Unorthodox right winger Brophy tried a few shots and also got a few chances going, but the recipients of his passes were unable to convert - 5
Rohan Ince: Midfield controller Ince was, unlike many of his colleagues, his usual self. Winning the ball back at every opportunity and distributed well - 7
Anton Rodgers (replaced by Conor Thomas '82): Rodgers was, not for the first time, a subject to the boo boys at the County Ground after a number of set pieces and shots were headed away and over the bar respectively. Being cheered when he came off says a lot about his display - 4
Ben Gladwin (Replaced by Johnny Goddard '45): In a first half that did not see any quality, from anyone, Gladwin put in a few crosses that came to nothing and on one occasion decided against having a shot from the edge of the box - 4
Luke Norris (replaced by Jordan Stewart '79): Norris, in for the injured Nicky Ajose, tried everything to trap the ball and bring others into play but did not have a lot of luck - 5
Jon Obika: Due to the absense of Ajose, Obika was forced to be Town's main threat going forward as opposed to the give-and-go striker. Could not add to his tally of two goals in the previous two games - 6
Substitutes:
Johnny Goddard (on for Gladwin '45): Swindon looked a tad more lively with Goddard's introduction but the ex-Woking man could not get enough moves going as the Robins struggled in front of goal for the entirety - 6
Jordan Stewart (on for Norris '79): Northern Irishman Stewart only got 11 minutes but the young forward almost scored with a chance late on. May have got more luck if he was on for longer - 5
Conor Thomas (on for Rodgers '82): Former Coventry midfielder Thomas did not do a great deal in the eight minutes he was on the pitch - 4
