PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 1-0 Bradford City

Swindon ground out a narrow 1-0 win over high-flying Bradford City at home on Saturday afternoon and Total Sport's Benjamin Wills offers his player ratings from the match.

Lawrence Vigouroux: Never had too much to do in terms of great saves, but was equal to anything Bradford could manage - 6

Darnell Furlong: Passes were wayward in the first half but generally was effective in restricting the Bradford wingers. Almost got a delightful assist with a brilliant cross - 6

Lloyd Jones: Solid at the back as he so-often is. Superb in the air and made one particularly crucial block to deny a long-range effort late on from troubling the Town goal - 8

Raphael Branco: Similar in Jones in his organised play, good work by the Brazilian - 7

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: Often looked bright on the overlap and forced a good save out of Bradford goalkeeper Colin Doyle. Was subbed for Tom Smith on the 50-minute mark due to injury - 6

Anton Rodgers: Scored a goal-of-the-season contender with his fantastic free-kick in the 20th minute and also always had an eye for a pass going forward. Given man-of-the-match by sponsors - 7

Michael Doughty: Not involved in a goal today for once, but on another day he definitely would have been. Lots of intelligent passes from a man who has just came back from an ankle injury, you never would have guessed - 7

Nathan Delfouneso: Had one bright effort in the first half tipped around the post and somehow he did not get one in the second half as he failed to make contact with a cross. Unlucky, not poor - 6

Johnny Goddard: Very lively as he played in his usual number ten role as opposed to left-wing where he has normally been in a Swindon shirt. Found Jon Obika on countless occasions with clever through balls and unfortunate to not get an assist to his name - 8

James Brophy: Made his return to the Swindon line-up after recent breathing problems and struggled to get a foot hold on the match in an unfamiliar right-wing role. Replaced by Ellis Iandolo at half-time - 5

Jon Obika: He may have scored on Tuesday against Southend however on evidence of Saturday he is still finding his fitness, which is fair enough. Heavy touches denied Obika a potentially high amount of goals but by no stretch of the imagination was it a bad game - 7

Substitutes:

Ellis Iandolo (on for Brophy '45): One of two Town men to be booked and occasionally threatened to cause danger to Bradford on the counter attack, just could not quite manage it - 5

Tom Smith (on for Ormonde-Ottewill '50): The young centre midfielder was deployed at left-back due to Brophy being subbed at half-time and then Ormonde-Ottewill's injury and the youth academy graduate looked like he had been playing there for years - 9

Luke Norris (on for Nathan Delfouneso '72): Sooner or later summer signing Luke Norris, £150,000 from Gillingham, is going to get his first league goal. Had a shot blocked in an ok outing - 5
