PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 1-0 Millwall

Swindon Town snatched a late, late win on Saturday when Conor Thomas scored with virtually the last kick of the game against Millwall. Here is how he, and every other Town player, was rated by Benjamin Wills.

Lawrence Vigouroux: Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux had a comfortable afternoon at the County Ground as Millwall did not produce much more than long balls and floated crosses, which the Chilean grabbed with ease - 6

Nathan Thompson (replaced by Brad Barry '89): Thompson, who started on the right side of defence, was switched to the left midway through the first half, but had no real luck offensively on either end. Decent in his defensive duties - 6

Raphael Rossi-Branco: Brazilian defender Branco was assured at the back with the limited work he had to do - 6

Dion Conroy: The ex-Chelsea centre back was probably Swindon's leading light in the first half as he made a number of key tackles and interceptions to keep Steve Morison and Lee Gregory very quiet indeed - 7

Fankaty Dabo (replaced by James Brophy '70): Dabo tried a number of crosses in the second half that looked dangerous but came to nothing - 5

Johnny Goddard (replaced by Luke Norris '70): Goddard was one of few men to actually get a proper shot on the Millwall goal and tried, without success, to create openings for Swindon - 6

Rohan Ince: Different game, same story for Rohan Ince. The on-loan Brighton midfielder yet again dominated the midfield and, again, got awarded with the man-of-the-match champagne - 8

Charlie Colkett: Colkett did not have his best game in a Swindon shirt but neither did anyone else, from either side, who was creative by nature - 5

Conor Thomas: For at least 89 of the 90 minutes Conor Thomas had a bit of an identity crisis, filling in at yet another unfamiliar position - this time right midfield for Ben Gladwin who got injured in the warm-up.

Thomas struggled to adapt for almost the whole game, but he scored the winning goal which could prove vital if Swindon stay up, so who cares? - 6

Jon Obika: Again, Obika did not have a great deal of fortune with shots on goal but tried his utmost, however all his efforts were blocked - 5

Nicky Ajose: Ajose was not served with many chances by his colleagues, but it was his shot that was deflected into the path of Thomas for his goal - 5

Substitutes:

Luke Norris: Norris could not muster much in the 20 minutes he was on the pitch - 4

James Brophy: Like Norris, Brophy did not contribute a great deal in the same period of time he was on the field, apart from a few crosses - 5

Brad Barry: Barry was only on for a minute plus stoppages so it's unfair to give him a rating, but with his first touch he did produce a poor delivery when Swindon were on the counter-attack. Fortunately, it did not matter in the end - N/A
