PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 1-4 Barnet
Swindon Town were humiliated 4-1 by Barnet on Saturday and Benjamin Wills has dished out his player ratings from the defeat.
Lawrence Vigouroux: Was at fault for the first goal, along with defender Chris Robertson, could do nothing with the penalty and goals three and four were too good for him as well - 4
Ben Purkiss: Over-run at right-back and left Barnet's attackers too much space regularly - 3
Chris Robertson: A mix-up between him and Vigouroux led to the first goal but the ex-Torquay man was more at fault. Did not improve later on as Town shipped another three - 2
Olly Lancashire (replaced by Dion Conroy '45): After scoring an own goal last week, captain Lancashire needed a better performance against Barnet. He gave away a penalty and was subbed off at half-time - 2
Chris Hussey: Even Hussey's set pieces, normally Swindon's main threat were off the radar more often than not today. Did assist Luke Norris' goal, however - 4
Donal McDermott: Actually had a good first half and was probably Town's best player until his red card, but his dismissal was stupid, reckless and needless - 4
Matty Taylor (replaced by Paul Mullin '45): Offered nothing in his 45 minutes on the pitch and gave the ball away countless times - 2
Amine Linganzi: Bizarrely for a cente midfielder, he was often in the Barnet box with half-decent opportunities for Town. Struggled to impose himself doing his supposed job, though - 4
Timi Elsnik: Looked bright when Town were on top in the opening 10 minutes but drifted off as much as any other unfortunate man to be playing in red - 4
Keshi Anderson (replaced by Kaiyne Woolery '66): The debutant was wasted out wide and, naturally, his dribbles often resembled a man running into a brick wall - 3
Luke Norris: Norris was Town's best player, which to be honest does not say a lot, however if anyone merited a goal, he did - 5
Substitutes:
Dion Conroy (on for Lancashire '45): Town let in two more goals with the Chelsea trainee on the pitch, but Town were on a hiding to nothing, especially when McDermott got sent off - 3
Paul Mullin (on for Taylor '45): Tried to enforce himself onto the match, with no pay-off - 3
Kaiyne Woolery (on for Anderson '66): It would have been difficult to notice the summer signing from Wigan was even on the pitch at times - 3
