PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town (1) v (0) Mansfield Town

SWINDON TOWN ran out 1-0 winners against struggling Mansfield at the County Ground this afternoon as Eoin Doyle’s first-half goal extended their winning streak to five games. Total Sport Swindon's Rajan Hothi gives his player ratings following the victory that kept Town top of the League Two table.

GK: Steven Benda (8)

Benda's good positioning prevented Maynard from running through on goal as Mansfield looked to hit Town on the break. Made a great stop after the opener to prevent the Stags from restoring parity. The Swansea-loanee made an even better save to prevent Andy Cook from levelling in the 57th minute. Played a huge part in Swindon keeping a clean sheet.

LB: Rob Hunt (7)

Like Caddis, Hunt was always looking to get involved in attacking moves and he did look a threat at times. Did his defensive work well enough against a dangerous Mansfield attack.

CB: Zeki Fryers (7)

Fryers and Baudry are seemingly a settled partnership at the back, and like the Frenchman, Fryers endured a good afternoon as he did well to sniff out any danger.

CB: Mathieu Baudry (8)

Despite some shaky performances earlier in the season, Baudry is starting to showcase why Wellens was so keen to sign him in the summer.

RB: Paul Caddis (7.5)

On his County Ground return, Caddis almost put Swindon ahead early on with a fantastic strike, but the post denied the 31-year-old from a special goal. Caddis looked impressive in his first Town start since May 2012.

CM: Jordan Lyden (7)

Lyden has proved himself to be a consistent performer in midfield for Swindon and the Australian put in another assured showing before being replaced at half-time by Danny Rose.

CM: Anthony Grant (7.5)

As always, Grant put in another impressive showing in the middle of the park with the 32-year-old doing well with his defensive duties as well as playing a big role in Town's first goal.

CM: Michael Doughty (6.5)

Was involved in a fantastic move which almost saw Doyle bag his second. Showed flashes of brilliance, but sometimes held onto the ball for too long - much to the annoyance of some Swindon fans. Replaced by Tom Broadbent after the hour-mark.

RW: Kaiyne Woolery (7.5)

Grabbed the assist for the opener with a good ball into the path of Doyle who made no mistake from close-range. Threatened the Mansfield defence at times, and won a lot of good fouls for the hosts. Replaced late in the game for Ellis Iandolo.

LW: Jerry Yates (7)

Was involved in the opener as he linked up well with Grant. Looked a constant threat, but perhaps should've put Swindon 2-0 ahead after 67 minutes, however, the 23-year-old scooped his effort over the bar.

ST: Eoin Doyle (8)

Doyle notched his 17th goal of the season after 22 minutes with a typical poachers finish to bag in his seventh consecutive game for Town. Almost bagged his second following a brilliant team move, but Logan did well to push his effort on to the bar.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

Danny Rose (6)

Came on at half-time for Lyden. Did a good enough job as Swindon kept Mansfield at bay.

Tom Broadbent (6.5)

Replaced Doughty as Wellens opted for five at the back with Mansfield starting to dominate. Did what was required as Swindon held on.

Ellis Iandolo (N/A)

Came on late and helped Town hold on.
