PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 3-1 Gillingham
After initially going behind, Swindon cruised to a 3-1 win over Gillingham at the County Ground and Total Sport's Benjamin Wills has rated the men in red.
Lawrence Vigouroux: The Swindon goalkeeper conceded early, through zero fault of his own, and made some crucial saves in the second half to keep Town ahead - 7
Brad Barry: After a slow first half where he often faltered in his passing and marking, he recovered in the second and helped get Swindon over the line for their second win in a matter of days - 6
Nathan Thompson: Captain Thompson preferred starting attacks rather than stopping them during the opening 45 and organised his defence well as Town improved - 7
Raphael Branco: After making a terrible error for Gillingham's goal, the Marmite Brazilian came out a different man after the half-time break. An assist and a goal of his own more than made up for the earlier mistake - 8
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: The ex-Arsenal trainee did not do a great deal wrong down Swindon's left-hand side - 6
James Brophy (replaced by Johnny Goddard '58): Brophy was lively going forward for Swindon, prior to his replacement and had a shot in the second half that tested Gillingham goalkeeper Stuart Nelson - 6
Rohan Ince: On-loan Brighton midfielder Rohan Ince gave a man-of-the-match performance in front of the circa 6,000 attendance. He dominated the midfield and was always keen to win the ball back when he lost it, which helped unlock the freedom that Charlie Colkett and Ben Gladwin need to thrive - 9
Charlie Colkett (replaced by Anton Rodgers '83): Speaking of Colkett, the Chelsea midfielder easily could have won the man-of-the-match award himself. Two of his corners led to goals and he was his usual flashy self, creating chances and making the Gillingham midfield dizzy - 9
Ben Gladwin: Gladwin was not quite as on-song as his midfield partners but it was by no means a matter of not trying. Gladwin tried cross, after cross, after cross that were all well-executed but just could not find a man. Also came close with a number of shots - 8
Jon Obika (replaced by Luke Norris '76): Swindon fans get so frustrated with Obika's injury woes as the talent of the striker, when fully fit, is vast and crucial. Scored a great goal on Tuesday night and could have had more - 8
Nicky Ajose: No goal for Ajose but he came close a number of times. Good link-up play with his colleagues and always looked a threat on Swindon counter-attacks - 7
Substitutes:
Johnny Goddard (on for Brophy '58): Goddard put in a solid shift in the last half an hour. Could and maybe should have scored seconds prior to Branco's goal - 6
Luke Norris (on for Obika '76): Norris did not do a great deal in his 15-minute cameo, but the goalscoring duties had already been sorted for the night by his mates, so it did not matter - 5
Anton Rodgers (on for Colkett '83): Similar story to Norris where the job needed to be done by Rodgers was completed before he got on the pitch. Kept Swindon's position secure from midfield - 5
