Sheridan on relationship with Lee Power:
"If I ever speak to Lee Power it is just about football or the game. I would never speak to him about things [like the FA charges.]
It's not for him to tell me about the charges or for me to ask about them really, he will deal with the and people better positioned than me will.
I don't deal with that, I've got more worries about how we will perform in the next game.
I honestly don't worry about that [FA charges]I just worry about winning games. If you are winning games it doesn't matter if you are £10 Million in debt or a multimillionaire in charge."
Sheridan on Akin Odimayo transfer rumours:
"I've not heard anything from other clubs about him. He's been in and out of the team, he has a lot to learn and needs to push himself a lot more to get a regular starting place.
Whoever is looking at him, he needs to focus on securing a starting spot."
Sheridan on FA Charges:
"I don't get involved in all that. Things off the pitch aren't to do with why we aren't winning games.
It's not In my hands and there isn't anything I can do about it. There are other things more important in my eyes such as Peterborough tomorrow."
Sheridan on approach to games:
"We always go out to start the game brightly and cause the opposition problems.
Once you go out on the pitch it is down to the players. Many managers better than me say this.
We have to make decisions quickly when playing, get a grip on things, and we need to do things better."
Sheridan on Peterborough:
"I think it's a good game for us, no one is expecting us to win but Darren Ferguson knows we can be a threat and win this game.
We gifted Blackpool two goals and other than that there wasn't much in the game. Peterborough are a very good team and they have players who score goals.
We've worked on Peterborough in training this week and hopefully the players can take that into tomorrow.
We know the importance of winning tomorrow and we are capable of winning."
Sheridan on captaincy:
"I gave it to Matty Palmer as he was returning to his old club at Burton and thought it might help him.
It was a one-off and he won't be captain tomorrow.
Whoever the captain is, it doesn't mean no one else can be a captain on pitch. I was louder than my captain on the pitch when I played."
Sheridan on team changes:
"Dion Conroy is injured and won't play again this season. He needs an operation but I'm not sure what.
Tom Broadbent and Taylor Curran are available and I need to make a decision.
Conroy has had niggling injuries and he needs to get fit. He has too many injuries."
Sheridan on Grounds:
"He did well against Burton and he has that experience given the position we are in.
He is the ideal replacement for Ellis Iandolo.
Sheridan on injuries:
"Iandolo is out with a hamstring injury but everyone else is ok.
Iandolo has a grade II hamstring injury and will likely miss the remainder of the season."
John Sheridan has now joined us.
Camp on Sheridan:
"He's been positive and I think his experiences will shine through in the coming weeks.
We've had a good weeks training and you just work hard to try and improve.
That's what good managers do."
Camp on club's FA charges:
It's not my remit, it's hard enough trying to keep the ball out of the net.
I don't need to focus on that, there are people more qualified than me to do that. We don't get involved in what's going on upstairs.
We just focus on winning football matches. We have no communication with that, it doesn't concern the players but past experiences are that we can't influence the running of a football club."
Camp on his message to teammates:
"You've got to put reality into context. Don't get too high don't get too low and keep emotions in check.
Keep moving forward and things don't always work, but if you keep working hard then things will get better.
We live in a world that is so immediate. We have to keep practicing and stick to the process."
Camp on past relegation experiences:
"Rotherham in 2016 stands out in my mind. We were in a lot worse a position than what Swindon were in when I arrived but we managed to go on a run and get out of it.
All you need is a little run to lift confidence and springboard you up the table. It just takes a moment to change."
Camp on using his experience:
"I always try to bring experience and use that too organise. Playing with two young talented centre halves in AK and Ellis, you have to coach them a bit. I think they have done incredibly well given the circumstances.
I'm enjoying being back playing, I've been in this position before and there is still a lot to play for. We shouldn't worry about relegation, we have games coming up that people will say are must-win, we just have to remain focused."
Camp on facing Peterborough:
"It's a tough game and they have a really good goalscorer. They are a typical Darren Ferguson side who attack quickly and they have had a lot of positive results recently.
We need to get a good result."
Camp on Burton goals:
"You take it personal when you concede from set-plays as a keeper.
There were elements we could have done better, some of that is down to inexperience."
Camp on his time at Swindon:
"It's positive. My first two games went really well, but unfortunately our last two results haven't gone our way.
I thought our performances have been decent and it was unfortunate to get beat by two set-plays at Burton.
This is a decent squad and plenty in the changing room shows we can stay up."
Lee Camp has now joined us and we are underway.
And we are finally in and ready to go.
We have just been told that we will be underway in a few minutes time.
We will be speaking to both goalkeeper Lee Camp and manager John Sheridan today. We promise to ask the tough questions following this week's FA charge but will also be focusing on tomorrow's match as Swindon seek to avoid relegation.
We are hoping to be with you shortly. Apologies for the delay. We were told 11.30-12 but it appears the club may be operating in a different time zone. We promise to be with you shortly.
Well this is taking an awfully long time isn't it...
We have been told the players are coming in from training, so we should be able to get underway shortly.
Today's press conference is the first time the local media have had a chance to speak to manager John Sheridan after Swindon Town was handed an FA charge earlier in the week with charges stating that Swindon Town FC, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management and Michael Standing breached Intermediary Regulations in relation to the ownership and/or funding of Swindon Town FC.
Swindon Town have requested legal advice and have until April 22nd to respond.
Swindon, like much of their season, are struggling through a period of inconsistency with John Sheridan's side suffering back-to-back defeats in their last two outings, having secured consecutive wins for the first time this season in the games before that.
Peterborough remain unbeaten in their last three fixtures since losing away to Blackpool mid-way through March. The Posh have picked up 7 points from their last three fixtures to help strengthen their hold on the playoff zone, scoring 8 goals in as many games, including a 7-nil rout of Accrington Stanley.
We are currently waiting for the zoom call to start. As soon as everyone is ready we will let you know. Whilst we wait, let's take a look at the two sides' form going into tomorrow's match.
Both team's have everything to play for in tomorrow's game with their final season outcomes one step closer following this weekend.
Peterborough currently sitting 2nd in the League One standings on 73 points currently occupy the final automatic promotion place, with Darren Ferguson's side 2 points better off than chasers Sunderland.
In contrast, Swindon are in a fight for survival with the Robins sitting one spot above the relegation zone with their superior goal difference keeping Bristol Rovers beneath them.
Good morning and welcome to our Friday morning live blog of today's Swindon Town press conference as John Sheridan's Robins prepare to welcome Peterborough United to the County Ground in tomorrow's League One fixture.
