Truman on Oxford preparation:
"I think the noise from fans is a big part and without fans you have to try and generate that yourself.
For me I will be shouting lots and talking my way through games because a keeper you have to find ways of getting yourself into the game.
You just have to do your job and let things take care of themselves.
You have to approach things differently as a player and hopefully we will get three points."
Truman on STFC future:
"I'm here on a 7-day loan that we can keep extending and hopefully it will be a longer term thing than just this week."
Truman on previous games:
"I think at Sunderland we played well and on the most part we were good and a bit unlucky to not get something out of the game.
We were chasing things a bit on Saturday and we want to put that result right tomorrow."
Truman on Oxford game:
"I'm well aware of the magnitude of the game and I've played in some big derbies before.
I'm ready to go and now how much it means to the fans."
Truman on AFC Wimbledon loan:
"It was a really enjoyable experience and something I really enjoyed.
It was the longest run of games I have had in my career."
Truman on his background:
"I've been at Birmingham since 11 and have gone through the academy and it was very rewarding to be involved in the first-team.
I remember watching Paul Caddis score the winner to keep us up and that was a very special day.
It's a club that should be competing to get back in the Premier League and I know that is the ambition of everyone associated with the football club.
I've had some good loan spells and it is a massively beneficial experience."
Connal Truman has now joined us.
John Sheridan has now left us.
Sheridan on connection with fans:
"It has been hard and I would love for the fans to have been here.
I've been in the game a long time and I know the fans want to stay in the league.
The fans like all fans want their team to be winning and that's football.
When people make things up to disturb things, I'm only bothered about the team."
Sheridan on rumoured half-time argument at Accrington:
"Nothing went on in my eyes.
Its all forgotten about. I wish it happened more to be told the truth and I'm not interested in it.
It's all forgotten about."
Sheridan on Saturday changes:
"There were one or two coming back from injury and the likes of Matt Palmer and Dominic Thompson had played a lot of games."
Sheridan on injuries:
"Grounds has a hamstring injury but it doesn't seem too serious.
Tyler Smith, Anthony Grant, and Joel Grant are all back training and we are going to need every player back and available."
Sheridan on points target:
"Everyone can say how many points you need but I can't predict that.
It's one game at a time and we will just concentrate on ourselves.
Team's are capable of getting results and that's something we are trying to do."
Sheridan on Oxford:
"Karl is an excellent manager and they have gone on a great run since we played them.
It's a big game and I shouldn't have to tell my players how important this match is. It's massive to get a win over your closest rival and this will be decided by who wants it more.
This is about the supporters and it is a big big game for us and we can pick results up when least expected.
We've won our last two games at home and will take the game to Oxford."
Sheridan on players game management:
"You see me shouting on game day but we didn't deal with things the way the players should have.
The most disappointing thing is after two very good away performances we didn't show any of those attributes against Accrington.
We improved in the previous four games but If we're going to stay in this league then you have to do those things a lot better."
Sheridan on Accrington match:
"First half we were ok but we gave away two very cheap goals.
My biggest downer was the way we went about the game in the second half because I thought we had an opportunity to win that game.
Our game management and decision-making was very poor."
John Sheridan has now joined us.
He says he is feeling ok after his concussion injury after showing us the mark where Ellis Iandolo's knee collided with his head in training.
We are waiting for John Sheridan to join us, in the meantime Anthony Grant has sat down in front of us.
Connal Truman will be speaking to us after we have finished chatting with Sheridan.
We are in the press conference and ready to go. John Sheridan will be joining us shortly.
We have just been informed that today's press conference will now be starting at 2pm. Apologies for the delay.
We were set to get underway at 1.30, however players still haven't arrived back from training yet. We will hopefully be able to get started shortly.
Good afternoon and welcome to Total Sport Swindon's live blog as we bring you updates from John Sheridan's Swindon Town press conference as the Robins prepare to host Oxford United at the County Ground tomorrow evening.
