Garner on Morfuni engagement:
"When Clem came in he spoke about several things he wanted to do with the club and he is doing those things.
That isn't always the case win football because people come in saying they are going to do things, but actions speak louder than words.
He backs everything he says and is a breath of fresh air for the town, the community and the football club.
I think it is fantastic and we love to see it from a staff point of view because it shows how much he cares about the football club and how much he wants Swindon Town to do well."
Garner on Swindon squad:
"We want good people in the building and we want good players.
You are then looking at the collective, the balance of the squad and I think that is really good.
The senior players are really good mentors as well and we have young players who can look at the professionalism and how the experienced players handle themselves.
We have a really good balance in the squad and they have gelled really quickly.
As coaching staff we have loved every day since coming to the club and we can't ask for anymore from a coaching perspective."
Garner on his playing identity:
"We've imposed our identity on this team from day one. Not just me but also my two assistants and Ben Chorley have very similar views on the game.
We have a way of working and a way of playing that we will stick to and believe in it and believe it will be successful as we build and believe it will help players.
That identity will be strong and will remain in place and we won't be going away from that."
Garner on season aim:
"I expect high-standards from this squad every day, a constant drive to improve and aim for perfection.
The immediate aim is to stabilise the football club and to get it on a strong footing again by staying in this division and building. Anything other than that will be a bonus this season.
Our aim here on the training ground is to create a professional environment where players are constantly learning, improving and developing.
If we do that then we will always be improving."
Garner on having supporters at County Ground:
"The energy Clem Morfuni gives supporters is incredible and he is delivering on his promises.
We are really excited about the game tomorrow from a football and community point of view.
We are really looking forward to the atmosphere and having fans back supporting the team.
It will be an incredible atmosphere and it's up to us to entertain the fans and make fans want to come back and be part of something special this season."
Garner on recruitment:
"We are really happy with the recruitment and are over the moon to have the targets in that we wanted.
We now have time to assess and bring certain players in later in the window."
Garner on injuries extended:
"Akin Odimayo is fine. Mathieu Baudry we are still assessing his hamstring but other than that it is only Jordan Lyden who is out."
Garner on Carlisle:
"Last season they had a really good season. I watched their game from last Saturday and they had really good opportunities to score.
They had a tough cup game against Sheffield United but they look really organised and a real threat. Chris Beech has done a really good job since going in there.
We're really looking forward to it with it being our first home game and having the supporters in."
Garner on injuries:
"Conroy, Kesler-Hayden, Gladwin are all ok and will be involved tomorrow."
Garner on Cambridge cup defeat:
"Lots of positives making a number of changes with players making debuts and it was a really good performance against a League One team.
The minutes that got into the legs of players is a big plus."
Ben Garner has now joined us.
We are in the zoom call and waiting for Ben Garner to join us.
We will be entering the zoom call shortly and will be getting underway with Ben Garner.
Having played one game of the season, Swindon Town currently sit top of the League Two table following their emphatic 3-1 away win over Scunthorpe United last weekend. In contrast, Chris Beech's Carlisle side endured a rather muted opening game of the season as they played out a goalless draw against Colchester United.
We will be speaking to Ben Garner from 8.30am as he speaks to the local media to preview tomorrow's League 2 game against Carlisle United.
Good morning Swindon Town fans and welcome to another early morning press conference live blog as we speak to STFC Head Coach, Ben Garner to preview tomorrow's first home game of the season as the Robins return to the County Ground for their first competitive game under the Clem Morfuni ownership.
