PREVIEW: Bury vs Swindon Town

Swindon Town are in 'relegation six-pointer' action again on Saturday as they travel to Gigg Lane to play 22nd-placed Bury.

The much-maligned Jon Obika, who scored Swindon's goal in the 2-1 loss at the County Ground in the reverse fixture, will not be risked by his head coach Luke Williams until he is 100 per cent fit. Williams said this morning (Friday) that he expected Obika to be back in training today.

Brad Barry has not yet returned to training either while loanee Rohan Ince, who was one of the two on-loan players forced to sit out of the Oxford loss due to regulations, is getting closer to being match fit.

One player that definitely will be available for Swindon is goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux. Swindon's number one was red carded in the dying stages of Sunday's loss but the Football Association rescinded his two-match ban.

Nathan Thompson, the man who actually committed the foul at the weekend, has not been banned instead as Swindon went down the 'wrongful dismissal' road of appeal as opposed to 'mistaken identity'.

Raphael Branco is one yellow card away from his tenth of the season, which will see him suspended for two matches.

In terms of form, Swindon have lost their last three on the trot but their last win, a 2-1 victory over promotion-chasing Bolton, did come away from home where the Robins have struggled so far this campaign.

Bury are even worse currently, as they are currently going through a wretched run of one win in 20 and they have kept just three clean sheets all season.

They are 22nd currently but the Shakers may have been all-but down already but for James Vaughan's goals. The ex-Everton forward has hit 17 this season which makes him the third top goalscorer in the division. Jon Obika and Johnny Goddard are Swindon's top league goalscorers with three each.

Bury will be boosted by the return of winger Danny Mayor, although it is unclear if he will be fit enough to start the game. Midfielder Andrew Tutte is also back, but Chris Brass still has a slight injury problem with Nathan Cameron, Craig Jones, Kean Bryan, Zeli Ismail and Tom Walker out injured.
