PREVIEW: Swindon Town vs Crewe Alexandra

Swindon Town will be aiming to get back to winning ways on Saturday after Coventry ended the Robins' three-match win streak last week.

Town have won their last two home matches however, both 1-0, against Forest Green and Notts County.

Derby loanee Timi Elsnik will be back for Swindon. He has not played for Town since November 18 due to a hamstring injury but the teenage Slovenian played an hour for Derby's under-23 squad on Monday and largely impressed, as County beat Birmingham 7-2 at St.George's Park.

Donal McDermott and Amine Linganzi will both miss out but McDermott does not need surgery to overcome his groin injury while Linganzi will not be out for much longer.

Long-term absentee Dion Conroy remains out for the forseeable future while Marc Richards will be in line to make his home debut for Swindon.

Swindon and Crewe have already met this season, as recently as December 23, where Town ran out 3-0 winners at Gresty Road courtesy of three goals in 20 minutes from Kaiyne Woolery, Linganzi and a Luke Norris penalty.

Crewe are in hit-and-miss form reads loss, win, loss, win, loss, win, loss, with the last two defeats coming away from home and the third one being that 3-0 defeat to Swindon.

Town will be boosted by the fact that George Cooper, who has nine assists for the Alex this season, has been sold to League One Peterborough this month.

Swindon are ranked 23rd out of 24 in the League Two home table while Crewe are 20th in the League Two away league.
