RIDER RATINGS: Swindon Robins (51) v (39) Ipswich Witches

SWINDON ROBINS made it back-to-back wins in the Premiership Supporters Cup with a strong showing over the Ipswich Witches at the Abbey Stadium earlier this evening. Total Sport Swindon's Ryan Walker gives his Robins rider ratings following the result.

1. Jason Doyle © (8)

Lightning quick out the gates in heat one and comfortably won the race. Surprisingly came second to reserve Cameron Heeps in his next outing despite chasing hard for the lead. Dropped points in his last ride but not for lack of trying before partnering Troy Batchelor to a maximum in heat 15.

2. Dawid Lampart (9)

Impressed in his first outing to hold off the challenge of Harris well and went on to enjoy a fantastic meeting scoring 10+3 overall. Had endured a shaky start on his return to Swindon but got it right tonight and will hopefully start to push on.

3. Troy Batchelor (8)

Produced the typical high-quality performance that Swindon fans have come to expect from him and displayed some brilliant racing to help Swindon to victory. Gated superbly all evening and partnered Musielak and Ellis well in big heats. Batchelor has certainly come of age at Swindon and will be crucial to the clubs success this season.

4. Adam Ellis (7)

Team rode well with Musielak in heat 3 to earn Swindon their second 5-1 and gated to the front in his second heat before being overtaken by Harris. Seemed to lose speed as the meeting went on but another big evening of rides saw him score 8+2.

5. Tobiasz Musielak (7)

Flew past Lawson in bend one of his first race and never looked back. Struggled with the track as the meeting progressed but consistently battled to try and overtake competing riders. Scored a respectable 8+2 but will certainly be looking to score more in the return leg on Thursday.

6. Zach Wajtknecht (3)

Gated well in his first race but lacked the speed required to be a threat. Overtaken by Allen in his second heat and looked well off the pace throughout the evening. Zach has had two fantastic seasons in Swindon kevlars and there is no doubt that he will come good again soon.

7. James Shanes (3)

Packed up in first heat but did well to overtake Bellego in his second race and finish third. Will be disappointed scoring just the solitary point and will certainly aiming to improve on recent low scoring performances.
