Swindon skipper Jason Doyle undertook physio on Thursday morning in his bid to be fit for their trip to King's Lynn later in the day. The Abbey outfit are counting on potentially having their star man available for tonight's clash - race tapes up at 7.30.
The Grand Prix star emerged without broken bones from a horror crash in Poland on Sunday but is struggling with an ankle injury which forced him to miss his Swedish league meeting on Tuesday.
However, he is optimistic he will be fit enough to ride through the pain barrier as the M&S Van Rental Robins head to Norfolk searching for a sixth consecutive victory.
Meanwhile, fellow Australian Rohan Tungate has confirmed he will take his place in Alun Rossiter's side.
Tungate crashed out of their clash with the Stars at the Abbey last week, suffering shoulder damage, but has recovered sufficiently to line-up at No.3 at the Adrian Flux Arena.
