Rosco offers no certainties on his main GB riders

Swindon Robins and Great Britain speedway manager Alun Rossiter is keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to the selection of his main GB riders for the upcoming Championships.

Speaking to Total Sport following the Robins recent home victory over Lakeside Hammers, Rossiter admitted he still has some big decisions to make in the coming weeks.

When queried on the topic Rossiter wasn’t letting much slip on who would make up his four man team come the Speedway World Cup final on July 30th, but gave assurances on main man Tai Woffinden.

“Tai Woffinden will obviously be in it but apart from that I’ve got three other main riders and one reserve to pick," Rossiter said.

“It’s going to be a tough choice but the beauty of it is that I’ve got a long break which gives me enough time to make my decision.

“This is certainly going to be the toughest World Cup we have had in a while because you’ve got so many top teams in the competition," he added.
