Rosco raring for Bees battle: Monday preview
Swindon Robins welcome Coventry Bees to the Abbey on Monday evening, in an eagerly anticipated encounter to be broadcast live on Sky Sports. With race tapes up at 7.30, boss Alun Rossiter is predicting a meaty encounter ahead.
The M&S Van Rental Robins will look to take another major step towards the Elite League play-offs as they begin a vital week which will also see them host Wolverhampton on Thursday.
With admission slashed to just £10 for adults, Rossiter is desperate to see a big crowd roar them on to victory in front of the Sky TV cameras.
He believes his side have what it takes to come out on top in what he is expecting to be a hugely entertaining clash.
“I think Monday’s meeting should be a really good one,” said Rossiter. “We normally get plenty of people at the Abbey when it’s Coventry and there’s a bit of extra spice added to it with the TV cameras in attendance.
“Hopefully we will get a good attendance with the reduced admission and they can cheer the boys on to another victory.
“We had a very entertaining televised meeting against them last year in which we came out on top after a real battle, and this could be another tough one.
“They certainly have riders who can get around our circuit, but we need to make sure we keep our winning run going.”
Swindon will be at full strength, with man of the moment Jason Doyle back at the Abbey for the first time since winning the Czech Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, Coventry are without Jason Garrity due to injury but are boosted by the return of Josh Bates at reserve.

COVENTRY: Krzysztof Kasprzak, Jason Garrity R/R, Danny King, James Sarjeant, Chris Harris, Kacper Woryna, Josh Bates.
