Rossiter calls for focus as Robins prepare to face King's Lynn

Swindon Robins boss Alun Rossiter has called on his side to retain their focus as they host King’s Lynn at the Abbey on Thursday, a meet which sees the return of former Robins heat leader Troy Batchelor. Race tapes up at 7.30pm.

After seeing their clash with the Stars at the Adrian Flux Arena postponed on Wednesday, the M&S Van Rental Robins will be back on home shale searching for their fifth successive win.

With confidence high, team manager Rossiter believes his side have what it takes to claim three more Elite League points against another side with play-off ambitions.

However, he knows they must guard against complacency as they aim to continue their tremendous run of form.

Rossiter said: “We’re not getting carried away with things, but it’s been going well over recent weeks and the riders really are showing what I honestly believe they’re capable of.

“It’s all positive but we now have to get back down to it against King’s Lynn. It’s going to be a tough meeting, but we have no fears and feel confident we can get the three points.”

Both sides will be at full strength, with Stars led by Grand Prix star Niels-Kristian Iversen and former Swindon skipper Troy Batchelor, who makes his first appearance of the season against his former club.
