Ryan Martin joins 'Talk is Cheap' boxing bill

Promising Swindon Welterweight boxer Ryan Martin has been confirmed as the latest name on the 'Talk is Cheap' line-up.

'Talk is Cheap' will take place at the Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon from between 7pm and 10:30pm on November 26.

'Sniper' Sam Smith, Luke "The Duke" Watkins and Kelvin Young, known as 'the Young gun' will also be involved alongside Harry Webb and Brandon Thomson.

Former England amateur Martin boasts a record of seven wins and zero defeats, with his most recent victory coming on points against Arvydas Trizno of Lithuania in June.

At the event launch last week, Martin said: "I would like to have had a few more fights by now but as I am only 22 I have a long career ahead of me and the opportunities will come.

"The hunger is still there and I have a good support and I want them to see me in a fight.

"I want (to face) someone who is going to stand and fight tough and strong and want to give people who reguarly buy tickets to see me."

Those who want to see Martin will need to make sure they are at this night of boxing, given this will probably be his last fight night of the year.

"This will probably be my last fight of 2016, but I want to be busy in 2017, I need the right fights at the right time.

"I am 100% fit, (I have) no injuries and I am in the right place mentally. This is one of the best bills I have seen in a Swindon show and I am really looking forward to it."

Tickets are available from between £35 and £70 via neilsonboxing.co.uk or on the ticket hotline: 01793 833468
