Snapped: Wildcats Make Pirates Walk The Plank

Swindon Wildcats hosted Hull Pirates on Saturday, January 9, in what was to be their most highly attended game of the current campaign. Aaron Nell's side were faced with a barrage of attack from their Humberside opposition, but ultimately emerged on top.

As the final buzzer sounded, Wildcats had escaped with a 3-1 victory, courtesy of a hat-trick by Polish international Tomasz Malasinski.

Over 30 times the opposition peppered Stevie Lyle's goal with shots, but the Wildcats held fast and dug in for an important win in front of a jubilant home crowd.

Rink-side was Total Sport photographer Richard Wintle, snapping the best of the high-octane action as it happened.
