Speaking to Total Sport, Lyle admitted it is yet to be confirmed whether he will still be playing at the club next season, and therefore the importance of getting Hedley settled into the Swindon team is paramount.
Lyle has been in inspired form this season, scooping a host of man-of-the-match accolades including a brick wall like performance at home to Telford, where he faced no less than 50 shots on his goal.
After recieving a call up to the Great Britain national team for the Olympic qualifiers, Lyle will be absent from the Swindon pipes for this weekend's triple header against Basingstoke (x2) and Milton Keynes respectively.
Lyle's absence means Hedley will again be afforded the opportunity of showing what he can do, as Aaron Nell's side seek to make ammends from last weekend's solitary loss to Guildford Flames.
