Swindon's latest loss, that came on Saturday afternoon, was their fifth home defeat from their last six and it has left them just one point adrift of the dreaded bottom four.
As Town failed to really trouble the Walsall goal throughout the encounter, ironic cheers went up when Anton Rodgers had a shot saved, players, management staff and chairman Lee Power were all subject to chanting from the stands and boos followed the final whistle.
Manager Luke Williams, however insists that he had no issue with the crowd's response and he agreed with their decision to voice their discontent.
"It (the boos) do not hurt me," Williams said.
"It is to be expected. The crowd are not happy when we have 20 attempts on goal if we do not win and they are not happy if we have one attempt on goal and do not win.
"If we have one attempt and win 1-0, they will clap us off, but we don't.
"We had a few attempts today, and lost, so we get booed off, which is correct and normal.
"We have a dozen attempts and do not score and we get booed off - it is to be expected.
"I do not want a pat on the back when we do not deserve it. I am not overly interested in a pat on the back when we do deserve it, but acceptance yes I fully accept the crowd response.
"It is not an issue for me. If you do not like that then do not work in football unless you win every game."
