Swindon Robins boss Alun Rossiter looking forward to Somerset derby

Swindon Robins boss Alun Rossiter is keen to see his side secure local bragging rights as they head to Somerset on Friday (19.30).

The Robins have experienced a mixed start to the season but will aim for an away win to bolster their SGB Premiership position.

Rossiter is relishing their local derby against the top flight newcomers and believes they have what it takes to come out on top.

"It should be a good one," Rossiter said. "It's nice to have a new local derby and we'll be looking to go down the road and get a victory.

"We've got plenty of riders with experience of Somerset, and although it won't be easy I don't see any reason why we can't go there and win."

Swindon will be at full strength for the clash, with in-form ace Nick Morris, skipper Jason Doyle, Bradley Wilson-Dean and Zach Wajknecht all taking on their former club.

Meanwhile, Somerset have drafted in Brady Kurtz to guest for Patrick Hougaard, who is riding in the Danish Championship. They also feature former Robins riders Rohan Tungate, Charles Wright and Josh Grajczonek.

SOMERSET: Rohan Tungate, Paul Starke, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Josh Grajczonek, Jake Allen, Jan Graversen.

SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Bradley Wilson-Dean, Adam Ellis, David Bellego, Nick Morris, Emil Grondal, Zach Wajtknecht.
