“We had a great win tonight and that’s the most important thing.” Began Bellego.
“ I had a bad start to the meeting with bike problems and a stupid exclusion.
“ We figured it out in the end and I’m very glad that we won.” Said the Frenchman.
Bike problems in his second heat of the evening caused Bellego’s bike to run wildly out of control, and the Swindon rider happily explained the reason behind the problem.
“ My kill switch broke when I fell in my second race and that caused the bike to keep running when I came off.” Explained Bellego.
“ We all know what is expected of us and we don’t go into any meeting expecting to win.
“ There is no complacency in the team and speedway is always tough.” He added.
“ It’s thirteen wins in a row now and we take each meeting as it comes.
“ We will stay focused and continue fighting for our goal.” Stated Bellego.
A tough start to his Swindon career saw the 24-year-old fail to impress early on in the season, but now it seems he is scoring points for fun and Bellego expresses his delight.
“ I didn’t really know what to expect from my first season at Swindon.” Admitted Bellego.
“ I have worked so hard for this, made lots of changes to myself to be the best rider I possibly can and it’s going well.
“ I work really hard in the gym, I have a great bike, really good tuner and a great mechanic so I’m super happy.” Said Bellego.
“ When it comes to the playoffs anything can happen and you never know what to expect.
“ We keep focused and the side will keep fighting for victories.” He added.
