0700 392 1235After a fantastic evening of racing of racing at the Abbey Stadium which saw the Robins move up to third in the British Speedway Premier League table, Bellego expressed his pride and delight when reflecting on the night’s events.
“I am really proud of everybody tonight.” Began Bellego.
“People put us down at the start of the season and now we are showing them all wrong.
“Hopefully we can continue to push on from here and put any troubles behind us.” He added.
After continuing to impress in Robins colours by racing to another impressive 11 point haul on the evening, Bellego told of the hard work he has been putting into his racing this season.
“We are really happy with the win tonight and now just have to keep focused and keep going forward.” Said the Frenchman.
“I’ve been working so hard this season both here and abroad, and I’m feeling really good here at Swindon now.
“I’ve been practising a lot and have my good engine working fantastically.
“Brian Karger is doing a fantastic job on my engine and I have no complaints whatsoever.” He said.
Thursday evening’s success helped continue the climb up the table for the Swindon Robins and Bellego was full of praise for manager Alun Rossiter and his squad changes this season.
“It’s definitely great to be in those playoff positions and now we are up to third.” Admitted Bellego.
“We had a bit of carry on at the start of the season but Rosco [Rossiter] managed to make the right changes in the team and now we have a great side.
“Tobiasz was the signing we needed and was certainly that one extra rider that we have been missing all season. “ He said.
“He’s a really good rider and has been doing lots of racing in Poland so his arrival has only helped push us on as a team.”
Along with fantastic displays on the shale, it’s clear to see the strong team bond that has formed within this Robins side, and Bellego insisted that this was perhaps the biggest key to the sides success.
“We have a great team spirit in the pits and that has helped so much to get us to where we are now.” Stated Bellego.
“We want to win for the club and all the fans and we are going to make sure we continue to kick on from here. “ He concluded.
