Wilson-Dean, 22, brings a whole host of honours with him to the Abbey Stadium, including the title of being the 2016 New Zealand champion after being crowned the Under-21 champion of his country in 2014 and 2015.
He has also enjoyed plenty of success with Eastbourne and Peterborough, winning the National Trophy, the Gold Cup, and the Knock-Out cup with the Eagles before adding another League Cup and the League Championship to his personal cabinet with the Panthers.
The New Zealander is now hoping to bring similar rewards to the Robins.
Speaking on Thursday during the Swindon Robins' annual press and practice meet, he said: "I'm just going to go out there and give 110 per cent.
"I know that we're not just here to make up the numbers, we're going to be working to show that we're worth keeping around.
"I'm just going to go out there and do my best, we've invested heavily in the bikes and everything for this season and I'm going to put everything I've got into it.
"I don't come all the way from New Zealand to go out there and score two or three points each meeting, I want to be making an impression on the team and showing that I'm here for a reason.
"I think I'm ready to crack on, last season was okay, I set myself goals last season and achieved all of them, what I've said I'll do, I've done.
"This season's the same, I've got goals that I want to achieve. It's going to take a little while to get settled in but hopefully we can hit the ground running and score some points."
