Website 0330 002 1993Lawrence Vigouroux: All was going well until ‘that’ moment. Not troubled early doors, Vigouroux kept a solid line. Taylor’s cross-cum-shot beat him in the first half, but couldn’t beat the post. Second half saw disaster strike, failing to deal with the back pass in comical fashion. One for the ‘Football howlers’ DVD. 4/10
Louis Thompson: Playing out of position, Thompson hardly put a foot wrong. The build up for Posh’s first came down his side, where the roaming Taylor managed to slip behind him. Otherwise, stepped up well for his side in their time of need. Picked up a knock towards the end which Cooper claimed was just cramp in his post match comments. 7/10
Raphael Rossi-Branco: Almost the orchestrator of an early error. Branco regrouped well and was perhaps the most solid of the Swindon back line. Occasional marauding runs through the Peterborough midfield were positive from the big defender. 7/10
Adam El-Abd: As far as débuts go, it could have been much worse for the new man. Had spells with not much to do throughout the game. Remained vocal throughout and didn’t give a bad account of himself on his first robins appearance. Will benefit from further game time. 6/10
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: A quiet performance. Advanced forward when possible, without looking particularly dangerous. All too apparent that he doesn’t have a right foot. 5/10
Anton Rodgers: Didn’t come in to the game as much as he could have done. Tried to recreate his stunning chipped up volley freekick vs Orient last season, but it didn’t come off. His set pieces are still valuable to the robins however, as seen when his whipped freekick forced Bostwick to head into his own goal. 6/10
Drissa Traore: Subbed off around the 70 minute mark, but put in a good showing. Tough in the tackle and always keen to cover as much grass as possible. Kept the robins ticking over when play became a little stale. 7/10
Ben Gladwin: The most promising player on the field in the first half. Gladwin thrived in the middle, dropping his shoulder, finding space and pulling the strings whenever possible. A strong return for the former Swindon man, who will certainly benefit from the game time which is going to come his way. 8/10
Nicky Ajose: A very quiet first half. Won a few important balls out wide and very nearly gained an early assist after crossing to Hylton, but his team mate couldn’t convert. Perhaps an issue of service, but could likely link up well with Gladwin in the coming weeks. 6/10
Jermaine Hylton: Looked eager but never really made anything happen. Could have got an early goal when connecting with Ajose’s cross, but a frustrating one by all accounts. 5/10
James Brophy: Looked lively down the left, always willing to make forward runs and offer assistance where possible. Wasn’t at his most clinical today, but a player you struggle to take your eye off, regardless. 7/10
Substitutes:
Ellis Iandolo: The 18-year-old former Gillingham man got a run out towards the end of the second half. Didn’t look out of place around his team mates, but didn’t do anything to set the world alight. 5/10
Will Randall: Came on to replace Jermaine Hylton. Made sure to get himself in and around the danger area during Swindon’s late pressing, but nothing materialised. 5/10
Henrik Ojamaa: Some strong runs out wide after coming on late in the second. Looks to find the byline every time… but sometimes the byline finds him first and the ball is out of play. A decent impact sub performance, but couldn’t assist in a comeback. 6/10
Subs not used: Belford, Bangoura, Balmy, Marshall
