Swindon Town 2 Scunthorpe 1: Player Ratings
Swindon Town finally got back on the road to winning ways on Saturday, as they defeated Scunthorpe United 2-1 at the County Ground.
Total Sport’s Vic Morgan offers his player ratings as winning ways finally returned to the County Ground.
Lawrence Vigouroux: Did nothing wrong made crucial save at the start of the second half. Difficult day for goalkeepers with the wind and rain. 6
Bradley Barry: Solid and dependable as always one of the most consistent performers this season. 6
Raphael Rossi Branco: Star man his performance topped off with a goal. Popular player who always seems like he cares. 8
Adam El Abd: Part of a terrific middle three. An experienced unfussy player Swindon would do well to sign permanently. 7
Jordan Turnball: One of his best Town displays, determined and positive. 7
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: Some great crosses in one of his best Swindon displays. 6
Anton Rodgers: Outmuscled for the most part and some wayward passing. 5
Drissa Traore: Best of the Town midfielders busy and happy to get stuck in. 7
Ben Gladwin: Showed glimpses of last seasons form and after half time looked the player we know he can be. 6
Nicky Ajose: Took his goal superbly and began to cause problems for the Iron defence after the break. 7
Jon Obika: Frustrating afternoon worked hard but for little reward. 6
Substitutes
Wes Thomas: Replaced Obika on 75 minutes showed he’ll be a good addition when fully fit as we saw at Crewe on his debut. 5
