Swindon Town launch ten-part documentary series on Recast

Swindon Town have launched their new docuseries, providing behind the scenes action from the 2022/23 season. Total Sport’s Joe Acklam reports on the new show.

As part of the club’s new partnership with Recast, Swindon are launching their ten-part programme “A New Dawn”.

A New Dawn takes a deep dive behind the scenes of Town’s season, featuring content with Clem Morfuni, Scott Lindsey, Sandro Di Michele, and many more.

Rob Angus said in a statement: “This exciting new docuseries offers a never-before-seen look behind the scenes across the football club as we make huge strides towards financial security under new ownership, as well as progressing on the pitch.

“This season has seen us drastically reduce debts, appoint a new manager and sign more than twenty new players as we look to challenge the top sides in the division for promotion.

“We are delighted to bring this series to fans, which we hope is something they will embrace and enjoy over the festive period and beyond on our Recast channel.

“Recast offers a vital opportunity for the club to explore new revenue streams with fresh, affordable content. Fans can watch the series on a pay-per-view basis without having to fork out for a subscription as we seek to revolutionise the way video is produced and shared.”

Fans will get to see many things they previously had no access to, like what Lindsey does on a day-to-day basis, and Di Michele explaining how data drives decision making at the club.

The first five episodes of the show are available now on the Swindon Town recast channel, each episode costs 80p and fans receive 25 free Cast credits by signing up and can earn more credits in various different ways.
