Swindon Town loan watch: Scott Twine scores again and Tom Smith contributes an assist
It was another positive weekend for Swindon Town loan pair Scott Twine and Tom Smith, as the pair both had goal involvements for their sides Chippenham and Bath respectively.
Twine scored the second, to make it 2-0 to the Bluebirds, in a 3-2 home win against Chelmsford City at Hardenhuish Park.
The 18-year-old, who is traditionally more of a poacher, scored a superb long-range effort into the bottom corner for what was his fourth Chippenham goal.
Smith was on the losing side, as Bath were beaten 3-1 at Hampton and Richmond, but midfielder Smith assisted the Romans’ goal.
He sent experienced striker Marvin Morgan through, who rounded the keeper and slotted into an empty net for 1-0, Bath. Smith was also later yellow carded but he did play the full 90 minutes.
Jake Evans started Farnborough's 3-1 win at Larkhall Athletic but was replaced on the 48-minute mark when the side was 1-0 down.
James Brophy played the full 90 minutes as Leyton Orient drew 2-2 at Wrexham while Tommy Ouldridge was not in the Chippenham squad.
